Marissa currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She is a dedicated and compassionate professional who is pursuing further education in the field of mental health at John Carroll University's Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.

She is fond of working with adolescents and young adults and her specialties include interpersonal issues, anxiety, sadness, life transitions, stress, and self-harming behaviors. Marissa's approach combines the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy with the goal-oriented, caring strategies of motivational interviewing.

Marissa's commitment to fostering an atmosphere that is safe, secure, and judgment-free for all people forms the foundation of her work. Her goal is to provide support and guidance to empower individuals to navigate their paths towards mental wellness with resilience and confidence.
