Mary Frances is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll University, following her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Family and Children.
Her academic journey has sparked a deep commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate the complexities of life, particularly through the challenges of family dynamics, divorce, and self-esteem.
With a focus on evidence-based practices, Mary Frances integrates person-centered approaches and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address issues such as anxiety and depression. She is particularly interested in working with ADHD adolescents, recognizing their unique needs and growth potential. Her passion for family systems therapy informs her practice, as she strives to foster healthy relationships and resilience in her clients.
In her therapeutic work, Mary Frances emphasizes creating a nurturing environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings freely. She is dedicated to expanding her skill set by exploring innovative therapies, including play therapy, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness practices. As she continues her journey, Mary Frances is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
