Avital graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yeshiva University in 2012. She is a warm and invested professional who after years of teaching and specializing in social-emotional intervention decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a therapist. She is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at John Carroll University.

Avital has experience working with children and families in (nonprofit and school settings). She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of interest include Peripartum Depression and Anxiety, General Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Grief Counseling, navigating familial relationships, and body image. Avital’s approach to therapy is catered to the Client’s interests and needs however, she enjoys implementing evidence-based modes of therapy such as Expressive Arts and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help her clients reach their goals.

Avital is passionate about helping her clients feel empowered and reach their goals. Choosing to go to therapy is a huge step and she is honored to assist you in taking charge of your mental health journey. Avital only sees clients in the Beachwood office.
