Nicola is a Counselor Trainee, pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University. This career change marks a personal and professional shift to more meaningful work, prompted by her own grief journey.
Nicola offers an empathic and calm space to explore the parts of your life that feel especially heavy. She believes that a therapeutic space can be both healing and inspiring, and she strives to make sure everyone who sits across from her feels seen, heard, and understood. Nicola has a passion for clients in early adulthood, mid-life, and late adulthood who are navigating grief, life transitions, relationship dynamics, caregiver challenges, anxiety, and trauma. Whether you are looking to make a change or better understand yourself, she believes that therapy is a tool that can serve everyone. Nicola approaches counseling, as she does most things, with an existential lens, but she remains committed to maintaining a dynamic, person-centered approach individualized to meet the needs of each client. Therapy is a collaborative process, and she is eager to join you in the journey toward authenticity, meaning, and contentment.
Nicola supports her clients in building insight into their own tendencies and patterns, strengthening coping skills, and moving toward their goals. Consistently inspired by Mary Oliver, Nicola strives to help clients make sense of how they are spending their one wild and precious life.
Nicola holds a Counselor Trainee license through the state of Ohio, and she has completed the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME) Trainer Program in trauma-informed therapy.
Nicola is supervised by Katie Marchinchin, LPCC-S with umbrella supervision by Miara Noce, LPCC.
