Maggie is a counselor-in-training from John Carroll University. She brings 30 years of experience in education, theatre, music, and the creative arts.
Maggie looks forward to working with individuals and families of all ages. She has extensive professional and personal experience working with children under and over five years old and parents, individuals with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and mood disorders. She empathizes with those going through life stage changes, searching for meaning, healing, connection and balance.
Maggie specializes in expressive arts therapy, thoughtfully integrating creative modalities such as drama, music, play, art, and movement with other evidence-based therapeutic practices such as talk therapy, allowing treatment to be tailored to each client’s comfort level.
Maggie understands the vulnerability that comes with seeking counseling and acknowledges the courage it takes to show up. Her approach is strength based, uncovering the unique strengths of the client while collaborating to find meaningful change.
