VENISHA PARIKH, CT, INTERN

Venisha is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll

University. Her previous experience as a Registered Behavior Technician strengthened her

passion for supporting growth, building trust, and meeting clients with patience and curiosity.

As a counselor-in-training, Venisha enjoys working with adolescents and adults who may be

experiencing stress, anxiety, life transitions, cultural identity challenges, or feeling overwhelmed

by day-to-day demands. She approaches each session with warmth, openness, and genuine care,

creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and discover their strengths.

Venisha integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and

Mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and

develop practical coping tools. She believes therapy can be a collaborative journey, one that

empowers individuals to reconnect with their voice, values, and confidence.

Rooted in a culturally sensitive and holistic perspective, Venisha strives to honor each person’s

unique story while offering guidance with compassion and clarity. She is excited to continue

growing in trauma-informed care and multicultural counseling as she supports clients through

meaningful change.
